Nectar d'Or is produced after a 10-year maturing period in casks made of American white oak. Following this, the blend is transferred to hand-selected Sauternes wine barriques for an additional two years of extra-maturation, during which time it absorbs flavors similar to those of rich, spicy pastries. The whisky is non-chill filtered as a last step to offer more flavor and texture.
